Behind YAS stand culture lovers. And culture lovers know one secret others don't see: an empty seat is not empty. It is full. Full of a person who would have wanted to sit in it, and didn't know, or couldn't. Every evening, in halls across the country, hundreds of seats like these sit silent — quiet, patient, breathing in the air of the show like witnesses of silence. The play wants them. The actress, beneath her makeup, feels their absence. YAS was born to return the soul to its place. It is not a company. It is not a platform. It is a movement. It is the small moment when one person settles into one chair, and the hall — after hours of half-breath — suddenly begins to breathe in full.

An empty seat is a double loss. A loss to the artist performing for a half-full hall, and a loss to someone who would have come — if only they had known, or if only they could have. YAS closes that gap.

Membership covers three things. First — the ongoing operation of YAS. Second — direct support to venues we work with, out of a belief that Israeli culture needs a supportive network. Third — purchasing in-demand tickets at reduced rates from venues, and distributing them to community members. Bottom line: ₪99 a month is less than a single ticket to most performances.

Three things. First, on certain events — direct compensation from YAS. Second, exposure to a quality audience that might not have come otherwise, and may return later for full-priced tickets. Third, a full hall means a busy bar, food sold, wine poured. A half-empty hall is a loss across all these dimensions — and a full hall is a gain across all of them.

Anything with a ticket and an audience. Theater, music, dance, jazz, stand-up, classical, cinema, festivals, premieres — and sporting events too. We don't decide what's culture and what isn't. Any event with a hall and unsold seats — belongs in YAS.

It depends on the event. When the venue knows in advance that there will be availability — tickets will appear days ahead, and you can plan. When availability becomes clear only close to the event — tickets will appear hours before, for members who love being spontaneous. Both paths are open. The notification reaches you either way.

You can cancel any time, on the site or in the app. Up to 24 hours before the event — one click, no questions. Closer to the event — we'll ask you to update us, so we can offer the seat to someone else and not leave it empty.

Two ways. First — a couples membership. Two people, one membership, with no need to define in advance who the partner is. Both of you see events and both receive tickets. Second — you can reserve two seats for an event and send the second to a friend. The friend signs up for their own membership, receives the ticket directly, and from then on is also a YAS member. This way two members can always go together, and a solo member never has to go alone.
